Millennials have been painted as the quintessential job hoppers, but they\u2019re hardly the only ones contemplating their next gig.<\/p>\n

Twenty-nine percent\u00a0of workers say they see themselves leaving their current employer within a year, according to the latest reading of an\u00a0ongoing query of 10,000 workers<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0Comparably<\/a>. While that was the single-most popular response, a combined 46% of people said they see themselves staying for at least a year, and anther 20% say they’re not sure how long they will stay.<\/p>\n

Just 5% of people say they see themselves staying at their company indefinitely.<\/p>\n

By age<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cLess than a year\u201d was the most popular response in every age group 18 to 50, though the youngest set (18 to 25) chose it more often than the oldest (46 to 50).<\/p>\n

Among\u00a0the 50+ group, a different picture emerged. For those aged 50 to 60, the most popular answer was \u201cnot sure,\u201d while those aged 61 to 65 were most likely to say they would stay on \u201c1 to 2 more years.\u201d<\/p>\n
