The platform will provide the most specific &amp; comprehensive compensation &amp; culture data to understand employees\u2019 true value &amp; needs, to make work better.<\/p>\n<p>Focused on the tech industry to start (soon expanding), Comparably uncovers what exact salaries employees in similar environments are making, details their culture experiences at work, and connects workers to discuss issues around pay and perks.<\/p>\n<p>Comparably will be the leading resource for gender pay gap data, detailing what compensation women vs. men are making across hundreds of job titles. In addition, the company is launching expert research and editorials on it\u2019s new blog TalkPay (www.talkpay.com), building on the media \u201c#talkpay\u201d discussions last year on Twitter around issues of compensation &amp; gender pay gap.<\/p>\n<p>Four high profile technology executives in Los Angeles started the company. The co- founders have started 6 technology companies with 5 successful exists. The company is lead by former Docstoc founder &amp; CEO (sold to Intuit) Jason Nazar, as well as George Ishii (co-founder Yammer\/Geni), Mike Sheridan (co-founder, DebtMarket), &amp; Yadid Ramot (co-founder Investedin). Nazar is one of the most well known tech entrepreneurs &amp; investors in Southern California and is a Board Member for Tillys (TLYS), Carelinx, and Collab.
