And led by corporate giants such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/companies\/amazon\">Amazon<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/companies\/facebook\">Facebook<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/companies\/google\">Google<\/a>, tech companies of all sizes are leading the charge.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 66%\u00a0of workers in tech say their employers offer paid parental leave, according to the latest reading of an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/guest\/culture\/tech\/all-departments\/135-does-your-company-offer-paid-maternity-and-paternity-leave\">ongoing query<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/\">Comparably<\/a>. That&#8217;s more than outside of tech, where 53% of workers say their employers offer paid parental leave.<\/p>\n<p><b>A closer look at tech<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Looking at tech specifically, workers in communications, engineering, IT, operations, and HR reported the highest rates of working at companies that offer paid parental leave.<\/p>\n<p>Workers in legal roles reported the lowest rates.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1676\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.comparably.com\/00000000\/b\/2017\/09\/comms.png\" alt=\"comms\" width=\"941\" height=\"486\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.comparably.com\/00000000\/b\/2017\/09\/comms-300x155.png 300w, https:\/\/cdn.comparably.com\/00000000\/b\/2017\/09\/comms-768x397.png 768w, https:\/\/cdn.comparably.com\/00000000\/b\/2017\/09\/comms.png 941w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 1362px) 62vw, 840px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>City by city<\/b><\/p>\n<p>At 81%, workers in Seattle reported the highest\u00a0rates of working at companies that offer paid parental leave.
