We did a survey of over 10,000 employees in the Tech Industry, to better understand what’s going on with the Gender Pay Gap in Tech. \u00a0We broke the results down by Age, Ethnicity, Education, Location, and Department. \u00a0The results in the Info-graphic below were fascinating. \u00a0You can see more transparent compensation and culture on Comparably<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Women entering the Tech work-force have the largest disparity with their male counterparts. \u00a0While women over 50 have the least<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Caucasians\u00a0& African Americans have the largest gender pay gaps in Tech, while Hispanic\/Latinos & Native Americans have the lowest.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Surprisingly\u00a0both Women and Men in Tech make more money on average with only a High School education vs. a Bachelor Degree. \u00a0The largest gender pay gap in Tech exists when employees only have “Some College” education.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The gender pay gap in Tech is most\u00a0pronounced\u00a0in Atlanta, and least\u00a0pronounced\u00a0in Salt Lake City.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Women in the Tech industry who work in Finance, have the largest pay gaps with their Male counterparts. \u00a0While Women in the Tech industry who work in Admin roles make more than their Male counterparts.<\/strong><\/p>\n
