The percentage of men who have seen their pay jump 100% over the last seven years is more than double that of women,\u00a0according to the latest reading of an ongoing query<\/a> by Comparably<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The breakdown<\/strong><\/p>\n

Twenty-three percent of men say they have seen their compensation grow by 100% over the last seven years compared to just 11% of women, according to the query, which surveyed more than 10,000 workers across the technology industry.<\/p>\n

\"CHOO\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Overall, when workers were asked how much their compensation rose over the last seven years, the most popular choice was \u201c5% to 20%,\u201d followed by \u201c20 to 50%.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"cocoo\"BY ETHNICITY:<\/u>\u00a020% of Caucasians and 18% of Asians and Pacific Islanders say their compensation doubled in the last 7 years compared to 10% of African Americans and 8% of Hispanic\/Latinos.<\/p>\n

BY DEPARTMENT<\/u>: Workers in engineering and product were most likely to say their compensation has doubled in the last 7 years (25% and 24%, respectively) compared to admin and customer support (5% and 7%, respectively).<\/p>\n

BY EDUCATION<\/u>: Workers who earned a higher education saw more of a compensation increase in the last 7 years than workers who did not.<\/p>\n
