T<\/span>he robots are coming — and it\u2019s the youngest generation who\u2019s most\u00a0certain that their jobs are at stake.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thirty-two\u00a0percent of tech workers aged 18 to 25 say they think their job could be replaced by a robot in the next 10 years, according to the latest reading of an ongoing query<\/a> by <\/span>Comparably<\/span><\/a>. That\u2019s the highest\u00a0percentage among any age group.<\/span><\/p>\n

As age increases, people\u00a0feel less confident that robots\u00a0could replace their jobs, hitting a low of 12% among 56 to 60-year-olds.<\/p>\n

The same pattern could be seen when the results were analyzed by work experience: entry-level workers had the highest rates while workers with 10 years or more experience had the lowest.<\/p>\n

Women more concerned than men<\/b><\/p>\n

Twenty-three percent of women say they think robots may take their jobs in the next 10 years. That’s slightly higher than the 17% of men who saiy the same.<\/p>\n

Customer support, admin most affected<\/b><\/p>\n

Thirty-four percent of workers in customer support say they feel their jobs could be replaced by robots in the next decade. That was the most of any department. The next highest rate was seen among employees in administrative roles (28%).<\/p>\n

Workers in product and executive roles reported the lowest rates of feeling this way (12% and 13%, respectively).<\/p>\n
