And right now, about 67% of men and 61% of\u00a0women in the tech industry claim to have paid maternity and paternity leave, according to the latest reading of an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/guest\/culture\/tech\/all-departments\/135-does-your-company-offer-paid-maternity-and-paternity-leave\">ongoing query<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/\">Comparably<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2377\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.comparably.com\/00000000\/b\/2017\/11\/wowo.png\" alt=\"wowo\" width=\"788\" height=\"73\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Those numbers are significant: after all, there are no federal laws mandated maternity or paternity leave, and laws differ vastly from state to state.<\/p>\n<p>Awareness of maternity leave laws appears to increase among people in their mid-20s.
