More than 1,000 workers across the technology industry participated in the query.<\/p>\n<p><b>Departments at glance<\/b><\/p>\n<p>People in executive roles at tech companies showed the highest rates of receiving recognition for their good work (79%), followed next by those in HR (78%) and business development (74%). People in product had the lowest rate (55%), followed next by customer support (57%) and IT (61%).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/guest\/culture\/tech\/all-departments\/153-are-you-typically-recognized-for-the-impact-and-accomplishments-you-make-for-your-current-company\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2842\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2842 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.comparably.com\/00000000\/b\/2017\/12\/ac.jpg\" alt=\"ac\" width=\"558\" height=\"290\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.comparably.com\/00000000\/b\/2017\/12\/ac-300x156.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cdn.comparably.com\/00000000\/b\/2017\/12\/ac.jpg 558w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 558px) 85vw, 558px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>The age decline<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Workers in the youngest category (18 to 25) were most likely to say they feel recognized (75%).
