Workers were asked a variety of questions on topics related to their overall work-life balance. Methodology is outlined below the lists.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;With the rise of \u2018quiet quitting\u2019 due to post-pandemic burnout, more companies are permanently adopting a remote\/hybrid work model or expanding their time off policies,&#8221; said Comparably co-founder\/CEO Jason Nazar. &#8220;This year\u2019s list of Best Companies for Work-Life Balance are known for cultivating workplaces that prioritize their employees\u2019 mental health and flexibility, ultimately creating a more engaged and productive workforce.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This distinction is segmented into two lists: Top 100 Large companies (more than 500 employees) and Top 100 Small\/Mid-Size companies (500 employees or fewer). The answer to each question was given a numerical score and then compared to companies of similar size. Sample questions include:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Are you satisfied with your work-life balance?<\/li><li>How\u2019s the work-life balance at your company?<\/li><li>On average, how many hours do you work per day?<\/li><li>How long do you take for lunch breaks?<\/li><li>Do you feel burnt out at work?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>To qualify, Large companies (more than 500 employees) must have met a minimum of 75 employee participants and Small\/Mid-Size companies (fewer than 500 employees) needed a minimum of 25 employee participants. For fairness and statistical significance, additional weight was given to companies with more participation from their employee base relative to company size.<\/li><li>There were no fees or costs associated with participating, nor was nomination required.
