Being proud to work for a company is a positive indicator of employee retention. And even during this age, when job-hopping is more prevalent than it once was, 76% percent of workers in tech say they are proud to work at their company, according to the latest reading of an ongoing query<\/a> by Comparably<\/a>. More than 5,000 people across the technology industry participated in the study.<\/p>\n

Men vs. women<\/b><\/p>\n

Men were slightly more likely to say they were proud of their company (78% vs. 74% of women), according to the data.<\/p>\n

From a diversity perspective<\/b><\/p>\n

Caucasians and Asians\/Pacific Islanders had the highest rates of saying they were proud of their company. Hispanic\/Latino workers had the lowest.<\/p>\n

From a department view<\/b><\/p>\n

People in HR and executive roles were most likely to say they were proud of where they work (91% and 89% of them said they were proud, respectively), followed next by those in business development (83%). People in legal were least proud of where they work (65% of them said they were proud), followed next by design (66%) and IT (71%).<\/p>\n

The data appears to show no real correlation between age and company pride.<\/p>\n
