Millennials have a reputation for job hopping — and certainly they do it more than previous generations, though not as much as you might think.<\/p>\n

Thirty-one percent of workers aged 18 to 35 say they can see themselves leaving their job within a year, according to the latest reading of an ongoing query<\/a> by Comparably<\/a>.\u00a0That\u2019s not much higher than the 27% who say they can see themselves sticking with their current job for at least another two years.<\/p>\n

Overall, 22% of workers over 35 say they can see themselves leaving their job within a year compared to 31% of millennials aged 18 to 35. The most popular response overall was that people were planning to stay two years (24%). The least popular response was staying “indefinitely” (12%).<\/p>\n

Men and women shared similar responses to the query. The only main difference was that 22% of women said “more than 2 years” compared to 26% of men.<\/p>\n
