And with Silicon Valley tech companies such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/companies\/google\">Google <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/companies\/facebook\">Facebook<\/a> leading the charge, it&#8217;s no surprise that employers in San Francisco were ranked No. 1 for encouraging open discussion of workplace issues related to gender and diversity.<\/p>\n<p>Sixty-nine percent of people surveyed\u00a0in San Francisco say their employers encourage open discussion of topics related to gender and diversity, according to the latest reading of an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/culture\/all\/all-departments\/141-does-your-company-encourage-open-discussion-of-workplace-issues-related-to-gender-diversity\">ongoing query<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\">Comparably<\/a>.
