Nobody wants to work for a company that\u2019s still acting like It\u2019s 1956 or 1985 outside its doors, or that has a bad record for losing employees to flashier outfits. Engaged employees want to feel that work they are doing is fresh and might make the world a better place, and they\u2019re liable to leave companies that they feel have begun to stagnate.<\/p>\n<p>As of this writing, nearly two-thirds (59%) of people feel that they company they work for does indeed offer innovation. According to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/culture\/all\/all-departments\/198-how-innovative-is-your-company\">ongoing query<\/a>\u00a0by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparably.com\/\">Comparably.com<\/a>. More than 5,000 people across the tech sector participated in this query.<\/p>\n<p><b>10% Say They Feel Their Company is Stuck in the Past<\/b><\/p>\n<p>While \u201csomewhat innovative\u201d (30%) and \u201cextremely innovative\u201d (29%) were the clear favorite responses, 10% still accused their company of being hopelessly lost in the modern world.
