About Toyota\u2019s company culture, one employee writes, \u201cGood people to work with\u2026 The work itself is boring, tedious, and repetitive, but we manage to have fun in other ways via office competitions, giveaways, prizes, fun meetings, etc.\u201d One less enthusiastic worker adds, \u201cteam is not passionate, needs to show more interest in cars as a whole.\u201d<\/p>\n

General Motors culture is \u201cextremely inclusive,\u201d writes one GM worker. \u201cAll types of people, from many different backgrounds, working together for a common goal.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Toyota employee writes of the company\u2019s leadership, \u201coverall good leadership, company does well to follow their core principles of respect for people.\u201d<\/p>\n

About GM\u2019s CEO Mary Barra, one worker writes, \u201cI have great respect for the CEO. I thought the way she handled the Cobalt ignition switch recall<\/a> was extremely admirable.\u201d Another adds that company leadership \u201cneeds to get better at timing of large public annoucements.\u201d<\/p>\n

One Toyota worker writes, \u201cThis company pays fair.\u201d Another complains that \u201cjobs with the exact same title and in the same industry pay on average 20\u201330% more.\u201d<\/p>\n

About their compensation package, a GM employee tells us the company pays an \u201coverall decent amount of money.\u201d Another calls the pay \u201ccompetitive.\u201d<\/p>\n

While generally unenthusiastic about Toyota\u2019s benefits package, one employee writes that \u201cthe benefits outweight the mediocre pay scale.\u201d<\/p>\n

A GM worker raves, \u201cMy family is able to have fantastic healthcare that does not cost us anything.\u201d A second wriites, however, that the \u201cbenefits are sub-par for a big company.\u201d<\/p>\n
