There\u2019s nobody better suited to judge a particular company\u2019s interview process than employees who have been through it. Not only have they been asked the questions new prospective hires will be asked, they\u2019ve also now seen how the realities of the job sync up with the impressions they were given of their role during the interview process.<\/p>\n

This info comes from the latest reading of an ongoing study<\/a> by Comparably<\/a>. More than 10,000 respondents have replied to the query.<\/p>\n

Most respondents are happy with their company\u2019s interview process. <\/b>75% of male respondents and 76% of female respondents told us they think the interviews at their places of work are handled well.<\/p>\n

Responses from ethnicity groups were largely the same as the overall reaction. <\/b>The Asian or Pacific Islander group was most enthusiastic of all the subgroups in our study, but only by a few percentage points.<\/p>\n

Approval for the interview process at their company begins to drop as employees enter their forties, bottoming out around the 56-60 bracket.<\/b>This could imply that interview procedures have changed considerably for those particular respondents since their own experiences being hired, perhaps for the worse.<\/p>\n

Again, we see approval numbers in the mid-to-high 70s when respondents are segmented by their location.\u00a0<\/b>Of the cities we looked at only Riverside, CA and Victoria, TX had more lukewarm reactions to the question.<\/p>\n
