OVERALL CULTURE<\/p>\n

One Southwest Airlines<\/a> employee writes, \u201cIt\u2019s wonderful. I absolutely love working at Southwest. I love the company culture and how they value diversity and inclusion and how they see us as people and the pay scale and the benefits are great<\/b>.\u201d Others say, \u201cI work with great people and have fun despite how busy it is<\/b>,\u201d and \u201cI love this company! So full of energy and positive motivation.<\/b>\u201d<\/p>\n

A Delta<\/a> worker writes that \u201cpeople come to work happy and are proud to be there<\/b>.\u201d Another writes that the company offers \u201cclasses on how to be compassionate, how to care, listen, connect, and use your heart<\/b>.\u201d That said, another employee writes that \u201cwe need to remove some of the red tape and let people innovate more<\/b>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Delta employees call their bosses \u201copen, transparent, effective, friendly, profitable\u201d <\/b>as well as\u00a0\u201cinnovative, progressive, practical and relatable.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

COMPENSATION<\/p>\n

One Southwest worker writes that the company offers \u201ca good hourly wage<\/b>.\u201d Another says the pay is \u201cas good or better than any in the industry<\/b>.\u201d From the tarmac, one worker writes that \u201cbetter pay for the rampers would be nice<\/b>.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Delta employee also refers to a \u201chigh hourly rate<\/b>.\u201d Others call it \u201cfair pay for fair work<\/b>.\u201d However, one worker is critical of the company\u2019s \u201cready reserve\u201d policy: \u201cMost start off hired as a ready reserve, which is literally part time but delta doesn’t want to call it that. A ready reserve will only get one, one year pay raise and go no further until a part time or full time spot open. Working for Delta is great, if you’re not a ready reserve.\u201d<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

PERKS & BENEFITS<\/p>\n

Southwest workers cite \u201cexcellent healthcare benefits, vision, dental, 401K, etc.\u201d <\/b>as well as\u00a0\u201cprofit sharing, which makes us all have the same goal.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

While one Delta worker cites \u201cGreat health benefits, vacation time, personal time off, holidays, overtime, 401k matching, insurance, and flight benefits<\/b>,\u201d the sentiment is not across-the-board: \u201cGive us better healthcare<\/b>\u201d and \u201cWe need better health benefits and sick time\u201d <\/b>write other employees.<\/p>\n
