Of the 17% of workers who say they spend more than an hour on social media at work every day, 10% say they spend between 1 and 2 hours and 7% say they spend two hours or more.<\/p>\n Entry-level workers spend the most time on social media<\/b><\/p>\n While the most popular response among people of all experience levels\u00a0was “15 minutes or less,” workers in entry-level jobs reported spending the most time on social media per day: 23% of them spend more than an hour a day (12% spend between 1 and 2 hours; 11% spend 2 hours or more).<\/p>\n Workers with\u00a0over 10 years experience spent the least time on social media — 85% of them spent an hour or less a day.<\/p>\n The heaviest and lightest users by department<\/b><\/p>\n Perhaps unsurprisingly, workers in communications and marketing reported the highest levels of using social media\u00a0at work.
