Dr. Charlie B. Kawwas, Ph.D., has been the Chief Sales Officer and Senior Vice President of Broadcom Limited (formerly known as Avago Technologies Limited) since June 03, 2015 and also served as its Senior Vice President of Sales until July 2015. Dr. Kawwas served as the Chief Sales Officer and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Corporate Marketing for global sales and marketing at Broadcom Limited. Dr. Kawwas joined Broadcom through the LSI acquisition. Dr. Kawwas served as Head of worldwide sales for LSI, responsible for driving revenue for all of LSI's business groups. Previous positions at LSI include Vice President of sales and marketing for the networking division and Vice President of marketing for the networking and storage product group. Prior to joining LSI, Dr. Kawwas was the leader of Product Line Management for the Optical Ethernet and Multi-service Edge portfolio at Nortel. Dr. Kawwas received his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering and a doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.
