Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

This company displays a do more with less environment. Stong employees are rewarded with more work for less pay while weaker employees who spend time pleasing upper management are rewarded with more pay less restriction and less work.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We are all smart and hardworking.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I feel that I am undervalued.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Fair pay and open communication

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Our team is not inclusive.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Upper management should not show favoritism to employees within a team.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I am not paid competitively for what I contribute to first merchants.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

be less dismissive, more inclusive, be supportive and accepting of different personalities

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Being individual, setting clear achievable goals as opposed to intangible or perception based milestones

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

To be paid based on my body of work as opposed to subjective views of management.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I feel isolated within my team underpaid and undervalued. Favoritism has created a lot of the issues I am currently facing.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The interactions I get to have with those I don't work with directly and the opportunities to collaborate as the result of those interactions

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

leadership need to do a better job of paying employees competitively so they dont have to leave FMB to be paid what theyre actually worth. Helping you prosper should start with supporting the employees.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I have been meeting tangible standard for to elevate to the next level for years and I have always been paid both below market level and at the minimum level I could be paid even though I am a high achiever who displays all the values FMB claims to hold in its esteem.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

FMB is not interested in helping its employees propser. I have observed a do more with less approach from all upper managements which has had a largely negative impact on morale of those who want to see the bank succeed and are willing to go above and beyond to ensure that it does.
