Mr. Min Xu has been the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at ACM Research, Inc. since November 14, 2016 and also serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Xu served as the Chief Financial Officer at UTStarcom Holdings Corp. from August 12, 2014 to November 11, 2016. He has a unique and relevant blend of financial and capital markets experience gained during his time as a senior sell-side analyst covering a wide variety of companies listed in the U.S., deep industrial expertise in areas such as technology and telecommunications and strong hands-on technical engineering experience from his initial career as a software engineer. He served as a Senior Research Analyst at Roth Capital Partners, LLC, Research Division from April 2014 to June 2014. He catered to the equity research of clean technology within the clean technology, industrials and resources sector. He has over fifteen years of experience in finance, equity research, marketing and engineering. He was a Sell-Side Research Analyst at a few investment banks including Roth Capital and Jefferies Group LLC. From February 2013 to April 2014, he served as an Equity Research Analyst with Wedbush Securities and from 2010 to 2012, he was an Equity Research Analyst at Jeffries & Co. He served as a Research Analyst covering the clean technology companies at Wedbush Securities Inc., Research Division and Piper Jaffray Companies, Research Division and was a Member of the team for alternative energy coverage in 2009, 2011 and 2012. Before that, he served as an Equity Research Associate at Jefferies LLC, Research Division, covering the clean technology sector. He started his career as a Research Analyst covering telecommunication companies at Stanford Group Company, Research Division. He worked for seven years as a Technical Marketing Engineer as well as a Senior Software Engineer with Cisco Systems, Inc. in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. He had operational responsibilities, including conducting competitive analysis and forecasting as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams on a variety of critical projects. He has covered clean technology and technology companies for seven years. He has been an Independent Director of Sky-mobi Limited since June 01, 2015. Mr. Xu holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Peking University. He received an MBA in Finance from Duke University in 2005, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1999, an MS in Physics from Colorado State University in 1998 and a BS in Physics from Beijing University 1996.
