Dr. Ernst Heinen, D.V.M., Ph.D. has been the Chief Development Officer at Aratana Therapeutics, Inc. since March 5, 2014 and served as its Head of Drug Evaluation and Development from June 5, 2012 to March 5, 2014. Dr. Heinen joined Aratana after a twenty-two year career in positions of increasing responsibility at Bayer Animal Health. He served as the Vice President of R&D and Veterinary Technical Services, Companion Animals, his leadership helped Bayer create a number of innovative programs that resulted in double-digit growth of strategic flagship products. He is the author of dozens of scientific articles, abstracts and presentations focused on the animal health industry. Dr. Heinen also serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Animal Health Innovation. Dr. Heinen received a veterinary degree and a DVM degree in veterinary microbiology from the Justus-Liebig-University of Giessen Veterinary School, Germany and became a certified specialist in veterinary microbiology.

Mr. Brent A. Standridge has been Chief Operating Officer of Aratana Therapeutics, Inc. since July 01, 2016. Mr. Standridge has decades of experience in U.S. and Canadian animal health markets. Most recently, he consulted for the generic veterinary medicine maker Putney, Inc., which was acquired by Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC in March 2016. Previously, Mr. Standridge spent 28 years with Wyeth's animal health division, Fort Dodge Animal Health, which consisted of 11 years as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of North America where he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities. While with Fort Dodge Animal Health, Mr. Standridge successfully integrated staff, products and services from animal health company acquisitions of Bristol Myers, Parke-Davis, AH Robins, American Cyanamid, Syntex Animal Health and Solvay Animal Health. He also played an integral role during the acquisition of Wyeth by Pfizer in October 2009. Under his leadership, his team earned Manufacturer of the Year Award and Best Overall Distributor Relations, among others. Mr. Standridge graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Animal Science.

Rhonda Hellums serves as the VP Finance of Aratana Therapeutics Inc.. Rhonda started at Aratana Therapeutics Inc. in March of 2014. Rhonda currently resides in San Antonio, Texas Area.
