Dr. Reginald Seeto, also known as Reg, M.D., MBBS, has been the Chief Operating Officer of Ardelyx, Inc. since October 24, 2016 and serves as its Executive Vice President. Dr. Seeto has more than 13 years of experience in strategic corporate development and senior marketing roles at major global pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining Ardelyx, he spent eight years in roles of increasing responsibility at AstraZeneca and MedImmune, the Biologics Division of AstraZeneca. He served as Head of Partnering & Strategy and Vice President of MedImmune, LLC since 2013. He served as Executive Vice President of corporate development and strategy for MedImmune. He was responsible for MedImmune's Business Development and Strategy teams that deliver external partnership strategy including academic collaborations, licensing of innovative assets and technologies and government alliances/partnerships and for all therapy area strategies. He served as Vice President of Global Strategic Marketing & Portfolio Management of MedImmune Limited since May 2008. He was responsible for providing strategic guidance on investment decisions and managing commercialization efforts for new products in various stages of development. In his previous position at Organon International, he served as the vice president of global marketing, fertility, immunology, oncology and vaccines. From 2011 to 2012, he was on an expatriate assignment as the President of AstraZeneca Thailand, where he was the first MedImmune Executive to participate in a talent exchange and development program with AstraZeneca. Prior to MedImmune, he served as Vice President of Global Marketing for Schering Plough/Organon Biosciences. He served as an Executive Director of US Marketing at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals and had served as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. In his career he was a Consultant at McKinsey & Company and started his career as a Medical Doctor involved in both clinical practice and research. He has been a Director of Biohealth Innovation since December 2013. He has published several publications in peer-reviewed journals, including publications focused on his work in gastrointestinal research. Under his leadership, Thailand achieved its sales targets for the first time in 5 years and was awarded the RVP Award for Leadership for management of its worst floods in more than half a century. Dr. Seeto earned both his B.S. and MBBS in medical studies from the University of Sydney, Australia and practiced medicine in Australia early in his career.

Mr. Mark E. Kaufmann, MBA has been the Chief Financial Officer of Ardelyx, Inc. since May 2014 and serves as its Treasurer. Mr. Kaufmann served as the Principal Accounting Officer of Ardelyx, Inc. since April 26, 2016 until December 1, 2016 and served as its Chief Business Officer since August 2011 until May 2014. Mr. Kaufmann served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Allostera Pharma Inc. He served as President and Vice President of Corporate Development at Celmed BioSciences Inc. and served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He has 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in both the US and Canada. Mr. Kaufmann was employed at Nexia Biotechnologies Inc. in the position of Vice President of Corporate Development & Biopharmaceuticals. At Nexia Biotechnologies in Montreal, he was responsible for building its biopharmaceutical business, including product development and licensing agreements. He was Chief Financial Officer of Conceptis Technologies Inc. Mr. Kaufmann worked for 5 years with MedImmune, Inc in Maryland as Director of Planning and Analysis, where he led the strategic planning and contributed to the development of MedImmune's commercialization strategy. Mr. Kaufmann serves as a Director of Allostera Pharma Inc. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan School of Business and a BA in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University.

Mr. Bryan Shaw has been Vice President and Controller at Ardelyx, Inc. since November 21, 2016 and has been Chief Administrative Officer since December 01, 2016. Mr. Shaw served as the owner and principal of Bryan Shaw & Associates, a privately-held product sales and financial services firm, since June 2007. Prior to joining the Company, from February 2013 until June 2015, Mr. Shaw served as corporate controller for Nexenta Systems, Inc. Mr. Shaw served as corporate controller for Agile Software Corporation from August 2006 until September 2007 and as business controller and integrating manager of Avago Technologies Limited from July 2005 until August 2006. Previously, Mr. Shaw held financial positions at Coherent, Inc., Koninklijke Philips N.V. and Raychem Corp. In addition, Mr. Shaw spent nine years in public accounting practice with KPMG LLC. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Mr. Shaw holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.

Annalisa Jenkins serves as the Non Executive Director of Ardelyx, Inc.. Annalisa started at Ardelyx, Inc. in June of 2015. Annalisa is currently based in the Greater New York City Area.
