Mr. Sean P. Nolan has been Chief Executive Officer and President at AveXis, Inc., since June 18, 2015. Mr. Nolan oversees all functions at AveXis, including clinical, regulatory, finance, operations, sales and marketing, manufacturing and quality assurance. Mr. Nolan served as the Chief Business Officer and Executive Vice President at InterMune Inc. since February 2013. He served as the Chief Commercial Officer and Vice President at Reata Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from August 2011 to December 2012. He has 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Lundbeck Inc. since December 2009. He served as Vice President of Product Development, Commercial Development & Global Project Management at Lundbeck Inc. He joined Lundbeck as Vice President of Marketing and Sales Operations in 2004. He served as Chief Commercial Officer and then President of the newly created U.S. entity of Lundbeck, from April 2009 to October 2010. Mr. Nolan has 13 years of industry experience in both the Specialty and Primary Care Business Units of Abbott Laboratories, where he served a variety of marketing, sales management and operations roles. He led both Abbott's Long-term Care Organization and the Neuroscience Hospital and Office-based Sales Organizations. His specialty experience involved marketing responsibility for both the Hospital Cardiology and its flagship Neuroscience businesses. His primary care and operations experience included leading single largest sales organization, the Anti-infective Franchise and he was responsible for the successful reorganization and integration of Abbott's entire Primary Care Field Organization. Mr. Nolan has been a Director of Aquinox Pharmaceuticals Inc. since February 16, 2015 and AveXis, Inc., since June 18, 2015. He served on the board of the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance and was co-chair of the Rare and Specialty Disease Committee of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). Mr. Nolan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from John Carroll University.

Mr. Phillip B. Donenberg, also known as Phil, CPA has been Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer at AveXis, Inc. since October 19, 2017. Mr. Donenberg served as AveXis??? Vice President, Corporate Controller from September 2016 to October 2017. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Restorgenex Corporation from May 27, 2014 to January 8, 2016 and January 19, 2015 to January 8, 2016 respectively. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of EosHealth, Inc. since October 2013. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Diffusion Pharmaceuticals Inc. until January 08, 2016. He served as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Finance and Secretary at ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. until June 19, 2013. He served as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Finance and Secretary of NI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since 2010 until June 19, 2013. Mr. Michael B. Johannesen has been the Chief Compliance Officer, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at AveXis, Inc. since July 11, 2016. Mr. Johannesen served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Hospira, where he was responsible for the commercial and compliance functions of Hospira's legal department. Prior to joining Hospira, he worked as an Attorney in the legal departments of Abbott Laboratories and Whirlpool Corporation. He began his legal career at Winston & Strawn in Chicago. Mr. Johannesen earned his Juries Doctorate degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Illinois.

Mr. Brian K. Kaspar, Ph.D is a Co-Founder of Milo Biotechnology LLC. Mr. Kaspar has been the Chief Scientific Officer at AveXis, Inc. since June 2015 and serves as its Member of Scientific Advisory Board. Mr. Kaspar serves at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Endowed Chair in Pediatric Research of Grant Morrow, III, MD, Principal Investigator of The Center for Gene Therapy at The Research Institute and Associate Professor - Departments of Pediatrics and Neuroscience at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He has been a Director at AveXis, Inc. since October 2013. He served as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Abeona Therapeutics Inc. He received Ph.D. from University of California, San Diego, Post-Doctoral of University of California, San Diego and Post-Doctoral from Salk Institute for Biological Studies.
