Ms. Charlene A. Ripley has been General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Goldcorp Inc. since April 1, 2013. Ms. Ripley served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Linn Co, LLC from April 2012 to February 27, 2013. She served as Company Secretary of Linn Co, LLC since April 2012. Ms. Ripley has nearly 30 years of experience leading enterprise functions including legal, risk management, information technology, corporate affairs and government relations, as well as supporting several multi-million and billion dollar growth transactions. She served as Corporate Secretary, General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Linn Energy, LLC from March 22, 2007 to February 27, 2013. In her position, Ms. Ripley was responsible for leading the legal, information technology, corporate governance, compliance, government affairs, insurance and risk management departments. She served as Chief Compliance Officer of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation from February 2006 to April 2007 and its Corporate Secretary from September 2004 to April 2007. She served as General Counsel of Anadarko Petroleum Corp. from November 18, 2003 to April 2007 and its Vice President from 2003 to April 2007. She was with Anadarko Petroleum Corp. since 1997. She served as Vice President and General Counsel of Anadarko Canada since 2003. Ms. Ripley served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Anadarko Canada Corporation and its predecessor since 1998. She served as in-house counsel for Amoco Canada Petroleum Company Ltd. from 1990 to 1997. Prior to that, she served as an Attorney for a Calgary, Canada-based law firm. She serves as Chairman of Development Council/Canada. She also chairs the BC and Yukon Provincial Advisory Board for the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. She serves on several non-profit and advisory boards including: the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, the American Heart Association - Montgomery Division and the Mayor's (Houston) International Affairs. She helped found and is the President of The Woodlands Bar Association. She won the 2006 Best Corporate Counsel Award from the Houston Business Journal and was nominated for the 2006 Magna Stella Award for Best Counsel and Innovative Management by the Texas General Counsel Forum. She is a frequent speaker at legal conferences on the topic of Legal Department Management. She was honored in 2012 by the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce as the Breakthrough Woman for the Energy Industry and received The Association of Women Attorneys 2013 Premiere Women in Law award. She was recognized by Women in Mining UK as one of their 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining. She has been a Director of Keyera Corp. since June 13, 2017. Ms. Ripley is a Member of the Texas State Bar, American Petroleum Institute General Committee on Law, Texas General Counsel Group, Law Society of Alberta, The Law Society of British Columbia, Canadian Bar Association, the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society, the Executive Women's Partnership of the Greater Houston Partnership and the Women's Energy Network. She is admitted to the bar in both Alberta and Texas. Ms. Ripley received LL.B from Dalhousie Law School in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta where she majored in political science and economics.
