Mr. Daniel W. Pugh, also known as Dan, has been Senior Vice President, Risk Management Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at GSE Systems Inc. since February 1, 2016. Mr. Pugh's core areas of expertise are licensing software, negotiating contracts, developing and commercializing technology, establishing intellectual property and creating best in class corporate practices. He is a business oriented attorney with more than 21 years of experience working with technology-enabled software and service companies. Mr. Pugh also is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the Maryland Law Review and an MBA degree from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business.

Mr. Christopher D. Sorrells, also known as Chris, has been the Chief Operating Officer of GSE Systems Inc. since August 2015. Mr. Sorrells serves as Vice President at CaseStack Inc. Mr. Sorrells served as Interim Chief Operating Officer of GSE Systems Inc. from August 25, 2015 to August 2016. He was a Managing Director of NGP Energy Technology Partners. Mr. Sorrells joined NGP Energy Technology Partners in 2005 and focused primarily on the environmental services sector. Prior to this, Mr. Sorrells served as Vice President at Clarity Partners, LP and served there from September 2003 to September 2005, where he pursued growth financings and middle market LBO transactions. He started working on energy technology transactions in 1996. Mr. Sorrells served as a Principal in the Investment Banking Department at Bank of America Corporation and as an Associate in investment banking Salomon Smith Barney from August 1996 to June 1998 covering energy and power companies. He worked at Banc of America Securities covering energy, power and energy technology companies. He founded Bank of America's Energy Technology Investment Banking Group in 1999 and headed it from 2000 to 2002 and served as its Member of the Natural Resources Group and the Lead Banker on a broad range of transactions, including many private equity financings and was involved in a broad range of transactions. Mr. Sorrells was an Investment Banker at Salomon Smith Barney, where he focused on energy and power companies. From 1991 to 1994, he worked in sales and marketing for a firm. He has been Vice Chairman of the Board at Renewable Energy Group, Inc. since September 2016 and also serves as its Lead Director. Mr. Sorrells has been a Board Member of Lehigh Technologies, LLC since January 2007, Living Earth Technology Company and Renewable Energy Group, Inc. since November 2008. He has been a Director of GSE Systems Inc. since March 7, 2012. He also serves as the Director of Waste Resource Management, Inc. He is a Board Member of groSolar, Inc., Chesapeake Solar LLC, Midwest Optoelectronics, LLC and MWOE Solar. Mr. Sorrells serves as a Board Observer at Community Energy. He served as a Director of Global Resource Options, Inc. He served as a Director of CaseStack, Inc., since August 2005. He served as a Director of Xunlight Corporation and Westec Interactive. He has over 18 years of experience with energy, power and environmental service companies. Mr. Sorrells holds an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary, a Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Southern California and a B.A. from Washington and Lee University.

Mr. Bahram Meyssami has been the Chief Technology Officer of GSE Systems Inc. since December 1, 2015 and serves as its Senior Vice President. Mr. Meyssami has more than 15 years of commercial software experience in various capacities. He served as Vice President of Engineering at Three Stage Media, Inc. (alternate name, BDMetrics, Inc.) and served as its Vice President of Technology from 2005 to 2010. He was responsible for managing BDMetrics, Inc.'s software development, overall engineering resources and R&D initiatives. He served as the Senior Director of Data Analysis. He served as the Director of Software Development, Technology at Datatel, Inc. He served as Vice President of Product Development and Director of Process Technology of ICARUS Corporation from 1990 to 2000, a project modeling and evaluation software company, where he led product development and created innovative and unmatched product offerings. At Aspen Technology (NASDAQ; AZPN), Mr. Meyssami served in positions, Director of Software Technology Development and Director of Integrated Engineering Development from 2000 to 2005, managed internationally-distributed teams for a number of product lines in front-end engineering and design. His research and educational background is in Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. Mr. Meyssami has earned B.S, M.S and Ph.D degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Mr. Emmett Anthony Pepe has been the Chief Financial Officer of GSE Systems Inc. since July 1, 2016. Mr. Pepe served as Vice President of Accounting and Corporate Controller at BroadSoft, Inc. He has over 25 years of financial accounting experience, including more than 15 years of international accounting experience in the Telecommunications and Software industries. Formerly, he spent 5 years at British Telecom as Controller of the Americas. In addition, Mr. Pepe has held senior positions at SoftwareAG (formerly webMethods), Concert and MCI. During his career, he has gained expertise in financial reporting, international finance, accounting operations, systems integration and internal controls. As the Corporate Controller of BroadSoft, he overseas corporate accounting functions, consolidations, external reporting, Treasury, Tax, Facilities and Human Resources. Mr. Pepe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State University. Mr. Pepe is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Virginia and a Member of the American Institute of Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Paul T. Abbott has been the Chief Executive Officer of Hyperspring, LLC since September 2012 and serves as its President. Mr. Abbott served as a Senior Vice President of Training at GSE Systems Inc until January 10, 2017. He has been a principal of Hyperspring helping grow that business since 2007. Prior to joining Hyperspring, he was a senior reactor operator at two different U.S. nuclear facilities and served in the U.S. Navy. He earned his B.S. in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior College.

Ravi Khanna serves as the Senior Vice President, Professional Services of GSE Systems. Ravi started at GSE Systems in March of 2018. Ravi is currently based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area.

Sean Fuller serves as the Sr. Vice President, Sales of GSE Systems. Sean started at GSE Systems in March of 2016. Sean is currently based in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area.
