To achieve the optimal management structure of the enterprises of the nuclear fuel cycle of the Russian nuclear industry, increase their efficiency and competitiveness in the global market. It is part of the Fuel Division of Rosatom State Corporation and includes enterprises for the fabrication of nuclear fuel, uranium conversion and enrichment, the production of gas centrifuges, as well as research and development organizations.

The main activity of TVEL FC is the production and supply of nuclear fuel for power and research reactors. The fuel company provides nuclear fuel to 74 power reactors in Russia and fifteen countries in Europe and Asia, 30 research reactors in the world, as well as all transport reactors of the Russian nuclear fleet. Every sixth power reactor in the world runs on fuel manufactured by TVEL TV.
