Mr. Frederick W. Ahlholm, CPA, also known as Fred, has been Chief Accounting Officer at Minerva Neurosciences, Inc. since July 2014 and its Senior Vice President since May 2015. Mr. Ahlholm served as Vice President of Finance at Minerva Neurosciences Inc. since July 2014 until May 2015. He has been Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration at Amarin Corporation plc since March 2010 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer since November 10, 2010. Mr. Ahlholm served as Vice President of Finance at Acusphere Inc. since September 2005. He has approximately 20 years experience in financial and operational management including life science, technology and manufacturing companies. He served as an Interim Principal Financial Officer of Acusphere Inc. from June 30, 2007 to October 1, 2007. Prior to Acusphere, Mr. Ahlholm served as a Vice President of Finance at Upromise, where he was employed from 2004 to 2005 and also served as Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer for e-StudioLive, Inc. from 2001 to 2004. He also served Senior Financial roles with operating divisions of Invacare and Textron. Mr. Ahlholm was employed by the accounting firm of Ernst & Young LLP, is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from University of Notre Dame.

Mr. Geoffrey Robin Race, also known as Geoff, FCMA, MBA, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Minerva Neurosciences, Inc. since May 2014 and its Chief Business Officer since January 13, 2016. Mr. Race served as Principal Financial and Accounting Officer and Treasurer of Minerva Neurosciences Inc. He was the Chief Executive Officer and Acting Chief Financial Officer at Funxional Therapeutics Ltd. from June 2010 to November 2013. Mr. Race served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of PanGenetics B.V. from May 2010 to March 2011 and served as its Chief Financial Officer from September 2006 to May 2010. He served as Chief Executive Officer of CareX S.A., a biopharma' specialized in the discovery and development of drugs in the area of Metabolic Diseases based in Strasbourg, France. Mr. Race was responsible for successful merger with 7TM Pharma, a Danish company with a focus in similar disease areas. Prior to joining CareX, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Adprotech Ltd. from December 2000 to May 2003 and its Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Adprotech Ltd., he served as Finance Director of Bioprocessing Ltd. and served as its Chief Financial Officer from May 1997 to March 2000 and participated in the negotiations and its sale to Millipore Corporation in 1999. His career encompasses several general management roles, Board involvement in 'large' industrial settings as well as 'early stage' companies including exposure to sectors such as telecommunications and the automotive sector. Mr. Race is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and successfully gained his MBA from Durham University Business School in 1994.
