Sierra Ventures is an early-stage technology venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. The company was founded in 1982, and has raised almost $2B in capital. The current team: Ben, Mark & Tim, have been working together for 15 years, finding the right combination of innovative technology and talented entrepreneurs. Their goal is to guide entrepreneurs with expertise and capital and help them deliver on their potential. Sierra invests globally and has historically focused on B2B IT technology investments, in sectors like Big Data, Cloud, Devices, IT infrastructure, Mobile, Security and SaaS. We also invest in emerging technologies, including Consumer Marketplaces, Machine Learning/AI, Next-Generation Communications, Robotics, and Virtual/Augmented Reality.
