The financial benefits are great, but it's not every day that you thoroughly enjoy going to work every day. Compensation is all about the rewards you get in exchange for the work you put in, and man is it rewarding working at Drift.

No investment in engineering in the remote office. Promotions are based on popularity and likeability and less on merit. Engineers are paid under market value. When bringing up compensation, a response that was given from my manager (put in a negative way): "Why should you be paid more?"

I feel benefits can be improved (i.e. parental leave), but I understand we are still small and growing quickly so expect this to change as we grow.

I feel the parental leave policy could be leveled up. Quality maternity leave is a really big expense and I understand why it would be tough to swallow, but I fear the company will lose some of its top female talent if they can't provide adequate support to mothers.

I think our Drift benefits aren't competitive. Everyone at Drift puts in WORK and HUSTLES, we should be given more perks or better time off, etc. The stock options are good, but we could be given more.
