What do you like best about the leadership team at IMM?
A great manager is not necessarily a leader.
Quickly and clearly sharing account updates that could effect the whole company. We don't do enough to stop the rumor mill from churning.
Communicating and motivating people. The morale isn't very good and should be addressed.

What's the company culture like at IMM ?

Sales above all else. Culture is very sales, new business driven, selling things we don't necessarily have or the skills to execute. Little effort to beef up our bench of skills or invest in operational efficiencies. Always a last minute scramble to meet the need when we sell something through, without much foresight, investment or planning. Management cheers us on as "the best" but in reality, we're pretty average.
Short term, sales driven. All about the lips - lipstick, lip service. Not much strong leadership, substance or follow through. Lots of talk. If you can craft a story and convince someone to buy into it, you are golden here. Everyone else fall in line or get annoyed leave.

I feel like I'm working with the top people in the industry. I know there is no question we can't answer as it relates to digital marketing

The people I work with. Not always excited about the clients but I got to work with the people I care about.
A lot of people do not feel secure in their jobs. I think there also needs to be more appreciation.
How does IMM make decisions around promotions?
Arbitrary. How to get promoted is not very clear.
How's the vacation policy at IMM ?
"Unlimited" flex vacation time.
What's the office vibe like at IMM ?
For the newbies, it seems like a cool place to work. For the seasoned and long timers, morale is pretty low.
What's the interview process like at IMM ?
Long, drawn out and unnecessarily burdensome.
What part of IMM 's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Everything is difficult right now. Hiring can't keep up with the layoffs and departures and sales seem to never materialize as promised.
What do people at IMM think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
CEO is a sharp guy but not well trusted by clients and follow through is weak. He sets the tone for the culture and what is acceptable.
How's the work life balance at IMM ?
Balance is surprisingly good for a place that gives very little clear direction.
What are you most excited about working at IMM ?
New challenges.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at IMM?
Flexible schedules when needed, fantastic culture of fun and getting the opportunity to be goofy.
