Salsify is a great company to work for. You are well compensated and are given a lot of ownership of your work. Everyone I interact with is collaborative and welcoming. Benefits are pretty good too. The only downside is that you do work a lot and it can be hard to have a good work/life balance.

I'm still fairly new but I love it so far! it's everything I imagined and more. I feel seen and heard by the company and my team. If something is on my mind I am comfortable bringing it up to my manager. I love feeling challenged and that I'm always learning something new.

I like that our company is a more established startup company. There are many exciting opportunities like when the company is about to go IPO and how our products really help the customers. I just want to see more growth potential for myself.

I used to be enthusiastic about my coworkers and often cited it as the best part of Salsify. It seems like with the amount we have grown old coworkers have been burnt out, and new ones do not have the passion/dedication.

At Salsify there is little collaboration across departments. Sales is hostile to CS and vice versa. This makes internal escalation or discussion pretty difficult when there is no assumption of good intent. Everyone just assumes the worst.

For a long time the work life balance was as good as we claimed. More recently that is not the case and we are told it will eventually get better but there are no signs of it. This pace cannot be sustained and there are going to be people leaving. That may just be expected at this point.
