Preguntado a la IT Department at UNC Charlotte

  • Keep in mind that there is a central IT division and multiple IT departments in other areas. It also depends on whether you are applying for phone support, programming, or desktop/local hardware and software support. There are no trick questions. The hiring manager/s will be interested in your actual education, experience, and interests. Additionally, the interviewers/hiring managers will hope to gauge how well you'll fit with the university culture, specific to the department in which you want to work. Expect at least two interviews, possibly on separate days, possibly via phone or Skype for the first one. Don't be nervous. The point of the interview is to get to know you and for you to get to know the job and then come to the best possible conclusion for everyone.
