Mismanagement on projects and very poor talent alignment to project deliverables. Wasted money and wasted human resources. Project Management/Change Management team in I.T. needs an overhaul and house clearing.
Poor performance feedback from project managers, misguided due dates, an disorganized and daft understanding of actual project deliverable and long each will take; blaming contractors instead of taking responsibility for poor management and not properly conveying what each project entails.
Ask more relevant questions. I was interviewed for a completely different position than what I ended up doing during my contract role. Be more straight forward about the challenges in the specific role you are hiring for instead I'd throwing contractors to the wolves and wishing them luck.
