It is a collection of people in a tunnel, filled with rising water above the knees. Everyone is trying to find a way out, some learning to swim. some helping others, some knocking others down (mind you, 21st century is not yet free of biases & prejudices against women, specially Indian men)

Leadership team needs serious training on, communication, transparency, and how to attain maturity by respecting & retaining the talent above personal friendly ties. Up the ladder folks like to believe they are open & transparent, but some serious blockers and unprofessional folks are thriving under

Messed up reporting structures (no well thought-out structure in place, some old folks that formed the company do as they please, sometimes that works, other times it doesn't, in the case of later they blame someone new and move on) and rejecting the ideas of specialists

Open communication, and no fear of reporting manage will help. Many co workers work only because of the fear of reporting manager. Sometimes they over meet, overshow, and do things that are not needed to please the manager, rest of the time they would underdeliver.
