Well it's tougher to get the interview than the actual interview. Be prepared to give thoughtful and intelligent answers. Most are asking technical questions to make sure you understand the material.

You work with people from all over the world and its wonderful. there are many diverse programs to engage in. UMass does a lot to give back to faculty and offer assistance towards a healthy lifestyle for all.
