Mr. Gary J. Goldberg has been the Chief Executive Officer of Newmont Mining Corporation since March 1, 2013 and has been its President since July 2012. Mr. Goldberg serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Fronteer Gold Inc. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Newmont Mining Corporation from December 5, 2011 to March 1, 2013. He joined Newmont on December 5, 2011 and is responsible for worldwide mining operations, health and safety, business excellence and security functions. Prior to joining Newmont, He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Rio Tinto Minerals. He served in leadership roles in Rio Tinto's coal, gold, copper and industrial minerals businesses. Mr. Goldberg served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of U.S. Borax, Inc. since February 2004. He began his career with Rio Tinto, Borax's parent company in 1981. He served as Managing Director of Coal & Allied Industries Limited in New South Wales, Australia. He served in leadership roles in Rio Tinto's coal, gold, copper and industrial minerals businesses. He also served at the Australian Government's Business Roundtable on Sustainable Development. He has 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He has been a Director of Newmont Mining Corporation since March 1, 2013. He serves as a Director for Australian Coal Research Limited, Warkworth Mining Limited Group, Australian Coal Association Sustainable Development Program Limited and Port Waratah Coal Services Limited. He served as an Executive Director of Coal & Allied Industries Limited since July 2001 until February 1, 2004. He was Chairman of the National Mining Association in the United States from 2008 to 2010. He is a Board Member of NSW Minerals Council. Mr. Goldberg has a BS in Mining Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and an MBA from the University of Utah.

Ms. Nancy K. Buese, CPA, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Newmont Mining Corporation since October 31, 2016. Ms. Buese worked in public accounting for 12 years. She has 25 years of experience in finance leadership roles. She served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of MPLX GP LLC, General Partner of MPLX LP from December 04, 2015 to November 1, 2016. She served as the Chief Financial Officer at Markwest Energy GP, L.L.C. the General Partner of MarkWest Energy Partners, L.P. from October 27, 2006 to December 4, 2015 and served as its Chief Accounting Officer since November 9, 2005, Executive Vice President until December 4, 2015 and Senior Vice President since November 9, 2005. Ms. Buese is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Colorado and earned a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas.

Mr. Stephen P. Gottesfeld has been an Executive Vice President of Newmont Mining Corporation since February 19, 2013 and has been its General Counsel since January 2010. Mr. Gottesfeld served as a Vice President of Newmont Mining Corporation since January 2010 until February 2013 and served as its Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs since 2006 until 2010 and Corporate Secretary since July 2011 until March 2015. He served as Senior Vice President of Newmont Mining Corporation since February 2012 until February 2013. He served as an Associate General Counsel of Newmont from 2004 to 2006 and was responsible its Latin American, African and Central Asian legal offices. From 2002 to 2004, he served Newmont's Associate General Counsel and General Manager of Newmont Peru S.R.L. He spent three years of his career with Newmont in Lima, Peru. Prior to joining Newmont in 1997 as Senior Counsel, he was an Associate at the law firm, Holland & Hart LLP. He has been a Director of Continental Gold Inc. since June 2017. He serves as a Director at Newmont Australia Holdings Pty Ltd. Mr. Gottesfeld earned a Law degree and a Master's degree in International Affairs from the University of Denver in 1993 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from The Colorado College in 1989.

Mr. Thomas Ronald Palmer, also known as Tom, has been the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Newmont Mining Corporation since May 1, 2016. Mr. Palmer served as Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific at Newmont Mining Corporation from February 2015 to April 1, 2016 and served as its Regional Senior Vice President of Indonesia from March 2014 to February 2015. Mr. Palmer has been with the Rio Tinto Group for ten years. Mr. Palmer served as Manager Kooragang Port Operations from 2001 to 2003, Manager Carrington Port Operations from 1998 to 2001 both at Port Waratah Coal Services (Coal and Allied) and Manager Engineering Services at Comalco's Boyne Island Smelters from 1996 to 1998. Prior to joining Newmont, he was the Chief Operating Officer Pilbara Mines at Rio Tinto Iron Ore. Over a 20 year career with Rio Tinto, Mr. Palmer worked in a variety of roles across a number of commodities, including General Manager, Technology for the Bauxite and Alumina business, General Manager Operations at Hail Creek coal mine. Mr. Palmer served as General Manager of Asset Management at Palabora Mining Company Limited since July 2003. Mr. Palmer has an extensive experience, leading teams, delivering production while implementing safety culture programs and improving diversity. He has been a Director of Minerals Council of Australia since February 13, 2015. He earned a Masters of Engineering Science and a Bachelor of Engineering from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.

Mr. E. Randall Engel, also known as Randy, has been an Executive Vice President of Strategic Development at Newmont Mining Corporation and Newmont Mining Corporation of Canada Limited since October 2008. Mr. Engel served as a Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Newmont Mining Corp. of Canada Ltd and Newmont Mining Corp. from July 2007 to October 2008. He was responsible for Corporate Development, Treasury, Investor Relations and Strategic Planning. He has been with Newmont Mining Corp. since 1994 and served in various capacities in the areas of business planning, corporate treasury and human resources. He served as a Vice President of Strategic Planning and Investor Relations at Newmont from 2006 to July 2007, Group Executive of Investor Relations from 2004 to 2006 and Assistant Treasurer from 2001 to 2004. He has been Director at TMAC Resources Inc. since March 12, 2013. He served as a Director of Gabriel Resources, Ltd., since June 19, 2008 until November 27, 2009. Mr. Andrew Woodley has been Senior Vice President of North America at Newmont Mining Corporation since January 02, 2017. Mr. Woodley served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Rio Tinto''??s Oyu Tolgoi copper and gold mining operations in Mongolia. Prior to Oyu Tolgoi, he served as Managing Director for Rio Tinto Coal Mozambique and Country Head for Rio Tinto in Mozambique. He has held the role of General Manager of Operations at mines in Australia and has worked in exploration in Canada, as well as management consulting in mining and manufacturing in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and the United States. He earned his Mining Engineering degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University in canada.

Mr. Andy Holleman serves as Chief Compliance Officer and Associate General Counsel at Newmont Mining Corporation. Mr. Holleman joined Newmont in May 2013 as Assistant General Counsel, Ethics and Compliance. Prior to joining Newmont, he served as Associate General Counsel for Century Link from September 2012 to May 2013 and as Chief Privacy Officer for Optum from September 2011 to September 2012. Prior to 2011, Mr. Holleman spent ten years with Qwest / CenturyLink in various roles including Chief Privacy Officer, Corporate and Associate General Counsel and Vice President Consumer Operations. Immediately out of law school, Mr. Holleman served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard P. Matsch, then Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Mr. Holleman holds a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Mr. John W. Kitlen has been Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President and Controller at Newmont Mining Corporation since June 2016. Mr. Kitlen served as Vice President of Internal Audit at Newmont Mining Corporation since October 2012 until June 2016. Mr. Kitlen served as Director of Internal Audit of Storage Technology Corporation since April 11, 2005. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Kitlen earned both a Bachelor of Science degree and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Mr. Ramzi R. Fawaz has been Senior Vice President of Projects at Newmont Mining Corp. since February 2011. Mr. Fawaz served as Vice President of Shell Canada Ltd. He served as Vice President for Projects Oil Sands of Shell Canada Ltd. Mr. Fawaz served as Senior Vice President Operations of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited., where he was responsible for all project development, refurbishment and building of CANDU reactor projects and served as Vice President of Royal Dutch Shell, where he worked for 30 years in various roles. Among those, he was responsible for leading the Athabasca Oil Sands Expansion Project in Canada and the Nigeria LNG Train 3 and LPG expansion project in Nigeria. He has extensive experience in international project development and has engaged extensively with various stakeholders related to major development projects, including executive management, boards of directors, shareholders, contractors, utilities and various government agencies. Mr. Fawaz earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon and a Master's Degree in Power Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr. Scott P. Lawson has been Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President at Newmont Mining Corporation since May 2016. Mr. Lawson served as Executive Vice President of Technical Services at Newmont Mining Corporation since March 2015 until May 2016 and served as its Senior Vice President of Technical Services since December 2012 until March 2015. Mr. Lawson served as Senior Vice President of Engineering Services at Peabody Energy Corp. since 2011. He spent 22 years with international miner Rio Tinto. He led the Bauxite and Alumina Technology group for international miner Rio Tinto, where he directed a global team responsible for world-class mining and refining performance that included life-of-mine and reserve development strategies, project management and capital delivery, asset management, operations technology support and business improvement. Mr. Lawson was Vice President and General Manager of Engineering and Technical Services at Kennecott Utah Copper, part of Rio Tinto; he oversaw major capital projects and plant engineering activities, as well as companywide health, safety, environmental and sustainable development initiatives. He began his career in 1986 at the Barrick Mercur Gold Mine and held operational and management positions of increasing responsibility at Rio Tinto subsidiaries Kennecott Utah Copper and Kennecott Minerals. He has also served on the Utah Air Quality Board and the Utah Safety Council Board. He is a member of the University of Utah Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering Industrial Advisory Board. He graduated from business and strategic leadership programs at Duke University in Durham, N.C., and the London School of Business, respectively and belongs to the Society of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix in Salt Lake City and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Utah.
