Mr. Lawrence Mehren, also known as Larry, has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director at Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc. since June 26, 2012. Prior to firm, Mr. Mehren served as the Head of Global Business at Ventana Medical Systems and Roche Tissue Diagnostics, where he managed its four business units, as well as Spring Biosciences and MTM laboratories. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Emerging Businesses at Ventana Medical Systems Inc., from May 1, 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Mehren served as a Managing Director, Partner and Head of Healthcare Industry Team at P&M Corporate Finance, LLC. Previously, he worked as a Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch; and in Business Development at Gale Group. He is a 13 years veteran in investment banking and securities business. His transaction experience includes numerous sell-side and buy-side advisory services, leveraged buyouts, divestitures and financings for clients, including public companies and privately owned businesses. Mr. Mehren received an MBA from the Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg School of Management and a BA from the University of Arizona.

Mr. Steven W. Metzger, also known as Steve, has been Head of Discovery & New Products at Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc. Mr. Metzger served as Head of Discovery at Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc. since September 2012 and served as its Senior Scientist since 2001 until 2007. Mr. Metzger served as Research Scientist of Accelr8 Technology Corp. since April 2001. From 2000 to 2001, Mr. Metzger was responsible for the implementation of emerging core technologies at Heska Corporation and an employee for Geo-Centers Inc. under contract at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. Mr. Metzger received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the Colorado College in 1996.

Mr. Steve Reichling has been the Chief Financial Officer of Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc. since September 10, 2012 and serves as its Chief Accounting Officer and Secretary. Mr. Reichling joined Accelr8 from Roche Tissue Diagnostics where he served as General Manager of its antibody R&D and research products subsidiary, Spring Bioscience Corp. Prior to this role he served in various finance, accounting and operations leadership roles at Roche Tissue Diagnostics and Ventana Medical Systems including as Director of Finance and Operations, Manager of Business Development Finance and head of Internal Audit and Sarbanes Oxley Compliance. He served as a life sciences company Auditor at Ernst & Young LLP. He holds a B.A. in Accounting and Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Kurt Reinhardt has been the Head of Operations at Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc., since September 2012. Mr. Reinhardt served in a variety of roles for Ventana Medical Systems, from 1991 to 2012, including establishing the initial Manufacturing and Quality Systems, Program Management, and Reliability Engineering. Prior to that, he worked at Rockwell International on the Space Shuttle and Advanced Space Propulsion Programs. He worked as an Engineer at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard on fast attack submarines. Mr. Reinhardt holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis in Applied Statistics from California State University.
