Mr. Neal T. Hare has been the Chief Technology Officer of American Electric Technologies, Inc. since January 24, 2008 and its Senior Vice President of Operations since May 2007. Mr. Hare is responsible for defining the manufacturing rationalizations associated with AETI's various domestic and international manufacturing facilities and identify the benefits and costs of rationalization opportunities, including corporate joint venture operations in China and Singapore. Mr. Hare oversees new product engineering and estimating for AETI's drives and marine products. Finally, he oversees the evaluation and integration of new business development opportunities via mergers and acquisition targets from a technical process, operational and strategic fit perspective. He has been with M&I since January 1992. Mr. Hare served as Chief Internal Officer, Vice President of Technical Products & Services of American Electric Technologies, Inc. (Merged with M & I Electric Industries Inc). Mr. Hare is one of the world's leading experts of electrical drive equipment and power control systems for both land and offshore drilling and marine applications. His prior experience includes 10 years as one of the Principals and Vice President of operations of Ross Hill Controls (DC Oilfield Drives), which was acquired by National Oilwell Varco and 10 years as Vice President of operations of Powell Electrical Manufacturing (Switchgear and Controls). Mr. Hare served as Director of American Electric Technologies, Inc. He led the team that was responsible for the design of 12 product lines of DC drive systems, one of which has remained the de-facto world standard drive for land drilling electrical equipment and was brought to market as a tremendous success. His post-graduate work at Rice University, Houston included Business and Economics. Mr. Hare has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cal State--Long Beach.

Mr. James J. Steffek serves as Senior Vice President of American Electric Technologies, Inc. Mr. Steffek served as the President of M&I Electric at American Electric Technologies, Inc., from September 2009 to 2013. He served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and sales at American Electric Technologies, Inc. from May 2007 to September 2009. He is responsible for international business development including Asia, South America and the Middle East. He has been with M & I since September 1973. He served as Senior Vice President of M & I Electric Industries Inc. From 1973 to 1979 he worked in project management, engineering and sales. Since 1980, he had been Senior Vice President responsible for sales, marketing and operations including remote operations in Singapore and Mississippi. He worked for Continental Controls Corp. as a Project engineer. He served as a Director of M & I Electric Industries Inc. Mr. Steffek holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston.
