Mr. J. Curtis Henderson has been the Chief administrative officer of Approach Resources, Inc. since December 2013. Mr. Henderson served as an Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Approach Resources, Inc. since February 2007. From 2005 to 2007, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Coterie Capital Partners, Ltd., a private equity partnership in Dallas, Texas. He served as Senior Vice President of Nucentrix Broadband Networks Inc. since September 1998 until 2005 and its General Counsel and Secretary from May 1996 to September 1998. Previously, Mr. Henderson served as Vice President of Nucentrix Broadband Networks Inc. from May 1996 to September 1998. While he was at Nucentrix, he oversaw the sale of that company to an affiliate of Nextel Communications Inc. under Section 363 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in 2004. He has over 19 years experience in public and private securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and regulatory affairs. Mr. Henderson holds a B.A. in Political Science from Austin College and a J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law.

Mr. Sergei Krylov has been the Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Vice President of Approach Resources, Inc. since January 03, 2014. Mr. Krylov has over 13 years of oil and gas industry finance experience from J.P. Morgan's Energy Investment Banking group. While at J.P. Morgan, he advised clients on strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions. Mr. Krylov holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, summa cum laude, from Pace University.

Dr. Qingming Yang has been the Chief Operating Officer of Approach Resources, Inc. since December 12, 2012 and has been its President since January 30, 2017. Dr. Yang served as an Executive Vice President of Business Development and Geosciences at Approach Resources, Inc. from November 2, 2010 to December 12, 2012 and served as its Vice President of Exploration at Approach Resources, Inc. from July 2009 to November 2, 2010. He leads Approach Resources, Inc.'s exploration, geological and geophysical team. He has over 24 years of domestic and international exploration, technical and operating experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Approach, Dr. Yang was employed by Pioneer Natural Resources for 12 years in a variety of positions, including Geosciences Advisor/Technical Lead for Pioneer's Eagle Ford Shale team. While at Pioneer, he coordinated the technical and commercial evaluation of over one hundred oil and gas prospects, including prospects in the Permian, Fort Worth, Appalachian, Gulf Coast, Arkoma and Williston basins. Dr. Yang earned his B.S. in Petroleum Geology from Chengdu University of Technology in the People's Republic of China, his M.A. in Geology from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and his Ph.D. in Structural Geology from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Mr. Troy A. Hoefer has been the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Approach Resources, Inc., since October 2015. Mr. Hoefer served as the Vice President of Reservoir Engineering at Approach Resources, Inc. since June 2013. Mr. Hoefer has more than 25 years of operating and management experience in the oil and gas industry. For the past 16 years, Mr. Hoefer held increasingly responsible reservoir and operating engineering positions at Pioneer Natural Resources. Most recently, Mr. Hoefer served as Reservoir Engineering Manager of the South Texas Asset Team, which oversees development of Pioneer's Eagle Ford shale play. Before joining Pioneer, Mr. Hoefer worked in various engineering capacities for Mesa Inc., which merged with Parker and Parsley in 1997 to form Pioneer Natural Resources. Mr. Hoefer holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Mr. Glenn W. Reed is the Co-Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Clearfork Resources, LLC. Mr. Reed served as Vice President of Operations at Approach Resources, Inc. until November 20th 2009. Mr. Reed served as an Executive Vice President-Engineering and Operations of Approach Resources, Inc. since June 2008. Mr. Reed served as the Senior Vice President for Operations of Approach Resources, Inc. from June 2007 to June 2008. Mr. Reed joined as Vice President for Operations of Approach Resources, Inc. in September 2002 and served until June 2007. He has 28 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Reed served as a Manager of Operations of Athanor Resources Inc. from 1999 to 2002, where he was responsible for petroleum engineering and operations before Athanor was sold to Nuevo Energy Company in September 2002. From 1988 to 1999, Mr. Reed supervised operations for American Cometra. Mr. Reed holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a registered Professional Engineer licensed in Texas.

Mr. Josh Dazey has been Vice President and General Counsel at Approach Resources, Inc. since joining in January 2016. Mr. Dazey served as an Associate General Counsel of Securities & Finance and Assistant Secretary at Eagle Rock Energy Partners, L.P., an upstream E&P MLP. Over the course of his employment at Eagle Rock, he worked on a wide range of SEC reporting, equity and debt offerings, exchanges and buybacks, upstream and midstream acquisitions and dispositions, corporate governance matters and other legal functions, culminating in Eagle Rock's merger with Vanguard Natural Resources, LLC in 2015. Before joining Eagle Rock, he worked as an Attorney in the Corporate Department of Baker Botts LLP, serving a wide range of clients including upstream E&P companies. Mr. Dazey graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center earning a J.D. degree in 2006 and graduated summa cum laude from Central Washington University earning a B.S. and a B.A. degree in 2001. He is an Active Member of the Texas State Bar.

Troy Hoefer serves as the SVP Engineering of Approach Resources Inc.. Troy started at Approach Resources Inc. in October of 2015. Troy currently resides in Dallas/Fort Worth Area.

Matt Wilks serves as the Director of Approach Resources Inc.. Matt started at Approach Resources Inc. in January of 2017. Matt currently resides in Abilene, Texas Area.
