Mr. Douglas A. Starrett has been the Chief Executive Officer at The L.S. Starrett Company since September 9, 2001 and has been its President since 1995. Mr. Starrett served as Chairman of The L.S. Starrett Company and has been its Director since 1984.

Mr. Francis J. O'Brien has been the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at The L.S. Starrett Company since November 5, 2009. Mr. O'Brien served as the Chief Financial Officer at Delta Education, LLC from 2005 to 2009. He served as the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, Treasurer and Principal Accounting Officer of ICU Medical Inc. until March 31, 2008. He served as the Principal Accounting Officer of ICU Medical Inc. Mr. O'Brien was responsible for all aspects of Financial Management, including accounting and treasury functions and corporate compliance resources. He served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer of StockerYale Inc., (now ProPhotonix Limited) since October 2001 and Chief Financial Officer from October 2001 to 2004. Prior to joining ProPhotonix, he served as Director of Finance and Business Development for Analogic Corporation from 1998 to 2000. Previously, he served as the Corporate Vice President of Finance & Administration at Addison Wesley Longman from 1982 to 1997, directing the finance, accounting, information technology and administrative functions. He served as Senior Manager at Coopers & Lybrand from 1976 to 1982. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. O'Brien earned his MBA from Suffolk University and his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts.

Mr. James B. Taylor has been a Vice President of Operations at The L.S. Starrett Company since June 30, 2015. Mr. Taylor was previously Division Vice President of Operations for Zygo Corporation, a unit of Ametek's Ultra Precision Technologies Division, from 2014 to 2015, Director of Optical Components Manufacturing of Zygo Corporation from 2010 to 2014 and Vice President of JML Optical Industries, Inc. from 2004 to 2010. Mr. Taylor holds a Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
