Mr. Evan Jones, M.B.A., serves as Managing Member and Executive Chairman of jVEN Capital, LLC. Mr. Jones founded jVEN Capital, LLC in July 2007. Mr. Jones has been Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at OpGen, Inc. since October 2013 and served as its President from October 2013 to April 2015. He served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer at OpGen, Inc. from December 2009 to June 2010 and served as its Chairman since September 1995 and Director since July 1990. He served as the Chief Executive Officer from July 1990 to November 22, 2006 and President from July 1990 to June 1999 at QIAGEN Gaithersburg Inc., which he founded in July 1990. Mr. Jones was a Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Digene Corporation. From 1988 to September 1990, he served as the President at Neomorphics, Inc. From 1987 to 1990, He served as an Associate at CW Group, Inc. He has also worked at Applied Biosystems, Inc. From 1983 to 1987, he was employed at Perkin-Elmer Corporation. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Foundation Medicine and Research!America. He serves as the Chairman of the Campaign for Public Health and served as the Chairman of the Board of Children's Research Institute at the Children's National Medical Center. He serves as Vice Chairman of Children's National Health System. He has been an Independent Director at Foundation Medicine, Inc. since January 2013. He has been a Director of Veracyte, Inc. since February 2008. He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Children's Research Institute where he was Chairman and Children's National Medical Center and the Board of Visitors of the University Of Maryland College Of Life Sciences. He served as a Director of Fluidigm Corporation from April 4, 2011 until August 1, 2017. He served as the Chairman of Signature Genomic Laboratories, LLC from June 2008 to May 2010. He has more than 30 years of operating and investment experience in the life sciences industry, where he founded or helped start numerous life sciences companies. He received an M.B.A. from Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in biochemistry from the University of Colorado.

Mr. Michael Farmer serves as a Director of Marketing at OpGen, Inc. Mr. Farmer served as Vice President of Business Development at USDS, Inc. until November 2012. He has 20 years of combined experience in the Biotech and IVD industries. Complementing his broad technical competencies, he is seasoned and skilled in the areas of client and partner relations, marketing, business strategy and management, product development, and corporate leadership. Prior to USDS, he served as Business Director and Global Head of HPV and Women's Health at QIAGEN, leading the team that managed QIAGEN's franchise molecular diagnostic assay for cervical cancer screening. Before that, he managed portfolio strategy at BD Diagnostics in the Molecular Diagnostics division, mapping the product pipeline and designing launch and commercialization strategies. Mr. Farmer was a key participant in Digene's successful launch of its HPV DNA test for screening, marketing a new evidence-based clinical utility for the assay to Clinical Laboratories, Pathologists, OB-GYNs, and Patients world-wide. Previously, he held several technical, operations management, and business management roles at Life Technologies, Inc. Mr. Farmer holds a B.S. in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.

Dr. G. Terrance Walker, also known as Terry, Ph.D. has been a Senior Vice President of Research and Development at OpGen, Inc. since October 1, 2014. Dr. Walker served as a Vice President of Research & Development of OpGen, Inc. since June 2013 until October 1, 2014. His responsibilities include leading the development of genomic technologies and new products supporting molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases. Prior to OpGen, he led drug target validation , biomarker discovery and clinical diagnostic development at Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Becton Dickinson (BD), Duke University and The Biomarker Factory across most disease areas and stages of development from discovery through late clinical trials. Dr. Walker received his PhD in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of Rochester with postdoctoral training in Biophysical Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr. Vadim Sapiro has been Chief Information Officer at OpGen, Inc. since December 2011. Mr. Sapiro is responsible for leading the development of OpGen's bioinformatics applications, software, databases and information technology operations. He joined OpGen from SAIC-Frederick where he was Senior Vice President overseeing the Information Systems Program for the National Cancer Institute at Frederick with responsibility for information technology, scientific computing and bioinformatics. Among his projects were technical program management and operations for the cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG(TM)), the cancer Human Biobank (caHUB) and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). Prior to SAIC, he was Vice President for information technology with the J. Craig Venter Institute. Mr. Sapiro is active in the regional and national technology and research communities, having served on many life sciences and biotech focused advisory boards and review committees. Mr. Sapiro holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Maryland.

Thomas Guiel serves as the Vice President of Operations of OpGen, Inc.. Thomas started at OpGen, Inc. in September of 2017. Thomas currently resides in Washington D.C. Metro Area.
