Mr. Brian D. Savoy served as the Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President and Controller of Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC. since September 2013. Mr. Savoy has been Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President and Controller of Progress Energy Inc. since September 2013. He served as Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at Duke Energy Progress, LLC since September 2013 and served as its Senior Vice President. He served as Chief Accounting Officer, Senior Vice President and Controller of Duke Energy Florida, LLC and Duke Energy Indiana, LLC since September 2013. He has been Chief Accounting Officer, Senior Vice President and Controller of Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. Mr. Savoy served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Duke Energy Corporation since September 1, 2013 until May 16, 2016 and served as its Senior Vice President. He served as Vice President of Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. He served as Vice President of Duke Energy Corporation since September 2013. He served as Vice President of Duke Energy Florida, LLC. He served as Vice President of Duke Energy Indiana, LLC. Mr. Savoy served as Director of Financial Forecasting at Duke Energy Corporation since 2012. He has led a number of key functions at Duke Energy Corporation, including Vice President and Controller of its Commercial Power segment since 2001. He was responsible for accounting, financial reporting and internal controls functions. He joined Duke Energy in 2001 as a Manager in Duke Energy's energy trading unit, Duke Energy North America. He was named Director of Trading and Risk Services later in that year. He led derivative accounting and trading control functions for energy trading and marketing activities and was instrumental in the successful wind-down and disposition of Duke Energy North America in 2005. He served as Director of Forecasting and Analysis at Progress Energy since 2009, where he played a significant role in addressing challenging business and strategic issues, including leading financial due diligence for the Duke Energy/Progress Energy merger completed in 2012. Mr. Savoy served as Vice President and Controller of the Commercial Power segment at Progress Energy from 2006 to 2009. Prior to joining Duke Energy, he served as a Manager of Deloitte & Touche, where he oversaw audit engagements with large energy clients. Mr. Savoy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and completed the Advanced Management Program at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in Durham, N.C. He is a Certified Public Accountant in both Texas and Ohio.

Mr. John R. McArthur served as General Counsel of Progress Energy Inc. and has been its Executive Vice President since 2008. Mr. McArthur served as Secretary of Progress Energy Inc. Mr. McArthur served as an Executive Vice President of Duke Energy Florida, Inc. (formerly, Florida Power Corp.) since November 2008 and served as its Chief Compliance Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He serves as Executive Vice President of Administration and Corporate Relations of Progress Energy Service Company. He served as an Executive Vice President of Duke Energy Progress, Inc. (formerly, Carolina Power & Light Co.) since September 2008 and served as its General Counsel since April 2004. He served as an Executive Vice President of Regulated Utilities at Duke Energy Corporation since July 11, 2012. He served as an Executive Vice President of Administration at Progress Energy Inc. since September 2008 and as its Secretary since January 2004. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Relations at Progress Energy Service Company LLC, a subsidiary of Progress Energy Inc., since January 2004. He served as Senior Vice President of Florida Progress Corporation, Progress Energy Carolinas and Progress Energy Florida, subsidiaries of Progress Energy Inc. He served as Executive Vice President of Administration & Corporate Relations at Progress Energy Inc. Mr. McArthur served as Senior Vice President of Duke Energy Progress, Inc. from January 1, 2004 to 2008 and its Secretary from January 1, 2004 to November 2007. He served as Company Secretary of Florida Progress Corporation and Progress Energy Carolinas, subsidiaries of Progress Energy Inc. from January 2004 to November 2007. He served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Progress Energy Inc. since January 2004 and also served as its Executive Vice President of Administration and Corporate Relations and Executive Vice President since 2008. He served as Senior Vice President of Florida Power Corp., since February 2002. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Relations of Duke Energy Progress, Inc. from December 2002 to December 2003, Vice President of Public Affairs from December 2001 to December 2002 and also served as its General Counsel. He served as Senior Vice President for Corporate Relations of Progress Energy Service Company LLC from December 2002 to January 2004, Senior Vice President since December 2002 and Vice President from December 2001 to December 2002. Mr. McArthur served as Senior Advisor to Governor Mike Easley from January 2001 to November 2001 and Manager for Government State Relations of General Electric from October 1997 to December 2000. Before joining Progress Energy in December 2001, he was a Member of North Carolina Governor Mike Easley's senior management team, handling major policy initiatives as well as media and legal affairs. He directed Governor Easley's transition team after the election of 2000. Prior to joining Governor Easley, Mr. McArthur handled state government affairs in 10 southeastern states for General Electric Co., from November 1997 to November 2000. He served as Chief Counsel in the North Carolina Attorney General's office, where he supervised utility, consumer, health care, and environmental protection issues. Before that, he was a Partner at Hunton & Williams. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sam J. Ervin III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He served as Chairman of Eastern North Carolina at Teach For America Inc.. He also serves on the Boards of the Global Transpark Foundation Inc. He served as a Director of Duke Energy Progress, Inc. since July 17, 2007Mr. McArthur served as a Director of Duke Energy Florida, Inc. and previously served as its Director since December 2002, He was an Editor of the Law Review of University of South Carolina. A graduate of Davidson College, he earned his Law degree from the University of South Carolina.

Kendal Bowman serves as the Vice President Regulatory Affairs and Policy - NC of Progress Energy. Kendal started at Progress Energy in April of 1999. Kendal currently resides in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area.

Rodney Gaddy serves as the Northern Region Vice President of Progress Energy. Rodney started at Progress Energy in March of 2009. Rodney currently resides in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area.
