Charles P. Rocha is Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of SLM Corporation (???Sallie Mae???). He joined Sallie Mae in 2009 as Senior Vice President, student lending and sales. Mr. Rocha has more than 20 years of commercial and consumer lending experience. Prior to Sallie Mae, he was the Strategic Integration Executive responsible for strategic planning and profitability optimization for U.S. credit card, consumer finance, and small business lending at Bank of America. He also held various business development, credit, and collections management roles in consumer lending at MBNA America, and he spent 10 years at NationsBank in leadership positions in retail finance and leasing. Mr. Rocha holds a bachelor's degree in international economics and finance from Georgetown University.

Mr. Paul F. Thome has been the Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President of SLM Corporation since February 2016. Mr. Thome serves as the President of Sallie Mae Bank and served as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Thome served as Senior Vice President of Operations Finance and Procurement at Sallie Mae Corporation. Mr. Thome has more than 40 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Sallie Mae in 2009, Mr. Thome was a Founding Partner of Credit One Financial Solutions and served as its Chief Financial Officer. His broad banking background includes senior executive roles at Credit One Financial Solutions, MBNA America and MNC Affiliates Corporation. In addition to Junior Achievement of Utah, Mr. Thome also serves on the boards of Utah Association of Financial Services and National Association of Industrial Bankers. He began his career with Coopers and Lybrand. Mr. Thome is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Thome holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from Augustana College.

Mr. Steven J. McGarry, also known as Steve, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of SLM Corporation since April 29, 2014. Mr. McGarry is responsible for finance, accounting and treasury activities, as well as equity and fixed income investor relations. He serves as the Lead Financial Spokesperson for SLM. He is a 17-year veteran of Sallie Mae. He joined Sallie Mae in 1997 as Director, Investments. He began his career in finance in 1985 with Toronto Dominion Bank, where he held treasury positions in London and New York. Mr. McGarry served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations at SLM Corporation from June 17, 2013 to April 15, 2014. He served as lead contact with the investment community. He served as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at SLM Corporation from February 2008 to June 17, 2013 and Vice President of Investor Relations from March 2007 to February 2008. He served as Managing Director of Investor Relations of SLM Corporation since November 21, 2003 until March 2007. He has worked at SLM Corp. since 1997, including as Director of investments, where he was responsible for managing its investment portfolio and share repurchase program. Prior to SLM, he worked at CS&E Capital Management as Director of Trading from 1994 to 1996. He began his career in finance in 1985 with the Toronto Dominion Bank where he held treasury positions in both London and New York. Mr. McGarry received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the State University of New York and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University.

Mr. Jeffrey F. Dale, also known as Jeff, has been the Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President of SLM Corporation since July 23, 2014. Mr. Dale joined Sallie Mae in 2014 from Citigroup where he served as the North American Group Risk Director responsible for consumer credit in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. In this role, he engaged broadly with various business units, other control areas and a variety of internal and external constituents, including regulators and auditors. Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Dale served as Divisional Risk Officer for UK Retail Bank at Lloyds TSB and Senior Vice President, Risk Management, Long Term Care Insurance for Genworth Financial. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Credit Officer for General Electric's Global Consumer Finance operations in Japan. Mr. Dale earned his Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate degrees in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University.

Mr. David Long has been the Head of South Region and Vice President at SLM Corporation since February 2015. Mr. Long served as Vice President of Sales at USA Funds for four years, managing the national sales and consulting teams. He holds MBA from Samford University and BS from University of South Alabama.

Ms. Denise Chaisson serves as Executive Vice President at SLM Corporation. Ms. Chaisson served as Vice President of Higher Education Sales at SLM Corporation since March 8, 2007. Ms. Chaisson leads SLM Corporation's sales and service efforts to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. She joined SLM Corporation in 1998 as a Higher Education Account Executive. She holds a Degree in Business Management from the Delta School of Business and attended the University of Louisiana.

Ms. Kelly Christiano has been Senior Vice President of SLM Corporation since February 2015. Ms. Christiano served as Executive Vice President of Partner Management at Upromise, Inc. Ms. Christiano served as Senior Vice President, Grocery of Upromise, Inc. since March 20, 2007 and served as its Senior Vice President of Partner Management. Ms. Christiano served as President of VIPdesk Concierge of Aspire Lifestyles (alternative name VIPdesk.com, Inc.). Ms. Christiano focused her time on client relationships, revenue generation, new business development, marketing and public relations. Ms. Christiano also guided VIPdesk's Sales and Marketing organizations in the identification of new markets and the execution of business development plans to ensure that it continues to achieve the record growth that landed it on the Inc. 500 list in 2003. Ms. Christiano joined VIPdesk team in 2000 after an eleven year career at ARAMARK Corporation, where she succeeded in a variety of roles in new product development, sales, operations and information technology. Ms. Christiano is a Member of the Wharton Club of DC, the Harvard Club of Boston and TEC International. Ms. Christiano is also a Radcliffe Mentor. Ms. Christiano holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School.

Mr. Tim Morrison serves as Senior Vice President of Government Relations at SLM Corporation. He served as Vice President of Federal Government Relations at SLM Corporation since August 22, 2005. Prior to joining SLM Corporation, Mr. Morrison worked at Clark and Weinstock in Washington, D.C., where he lobbied on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 clients. Mr. Morrison earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Dickinson College.

Ms. Joni Reich has been an Executive Vice President of Administration at SLM Corporation since March 2012. Ms. Reich Oversees human resources, real estate, facilities management, security and business resumption planning. Ms. Reich served as Senior Vice President of Administration at SLM Corporation since 2000 and was appointed to the executive management team in 1999. She was Promoted to Assistant Vice President of human resources at SLM Corporation in 1992 and Vice President in 1997. She began career at SLM Corporation in 1984 as a Compensation Analyst. She served as public affairs and personnel manager at Drug Fair, Inc., a subsidiary of Sherwin Williams Company. Member, Conference Board Human Resources Executive Council.
