    Just remember to do the best you can, if you can't perform your job duties you should look for another job.

    As difficult as it is, try to remember that you are not your work. It’s something you do. They’re not saying that *you* are a bad person. Try not to define yourself only by your work. When someone coaches you about your performance, they are giving you the opportunity and the tools to improve. They are telling you where the bar is. It’s important to know and, without that information, you can’t advance in responsibility or salary.
