Freedom and a general lack of micromanagement
It was Fantastic at first but things started going downhill when increases in wages were promised but never given, then HR started ignoring legitimate complaints, then the company started canceling extra programs. No one seeks out a career in utility billing. SInce its not a nice place to work anymo
Ive been here for 4.5 years, just expecting a job, but finding a career, and I love and support it!!
It was pretty good before the new CEO came in and bought up other companies and took on WAY too much work. Every employee is being overworked and underpaid. Corporate's solution? A whole $0.75 raise and a meeting telling us to shut up, sit down, and be happy with what we get.
Took away our annual raises and decided that workers should be satisfied with being rewarded with stickers/tshirts. There's no more reliable way to ensure wage growth. They say that the workers happiness is key but made it hard to for us voice concerns anymore. Concerns are just dismissed by head HR
