With a 17% below profit margin for my plant and occurring bad quality at its highest and a very bad safety and with a 10 hrs days plus 8 Saturdays, I can say we do not have a life/work balance.

I worked there 26 years. I was never forced to work more overtime that I wanted too. Bearing in mind that I enjoyed my job very much and didn't really mind working overtime.

There is no work life balance. Unless you count coming home and going to sleep a life.
