Having returned after being made redundant, which meant not being able to remain in REPS, it's hard to say what is best.
I wasn't able to start my role last year due to recruitment freeze despite the need to have the role filled back then, and there was a period of inactivity before I started, which meant that I started with a backlog. The should be more flexibility and exceptions to help teams and employees.
