The yearly bonus is competitive.
The goals of the business and company seem to change too often.
Young and energetic, but limited in experience due to very little management planning for retirements and attrition.
The bonus is great; however, as an individual I feel like I have very little possibility to influence the overall amount as much of the bonus calculation is tied to overall business performance vs. my performance.
Leadership needs to take a vested interest in retaining skilled engineers. When raises do not keep up with inflation and the only option for healthcare is a high deductible plan, it feels like we are losing buying power every year.
