20 years on the job, $18 an hour, getting laid off. 14 weeks severance. Insurance expensive coverage is low.
They are all nice people but our position has us working alone so we only really interact at shift change
I got the job under another company. Was hired based on my ability to do the job, being laid off based on my years of experience (they don't want to pay for experience)
Moral is at an all time low, people losing their jobs, months of knowing you may be out of a job at two weeks before Christmas, management has serous bad attitude, promotions to people totally unqualified for the position while most qualified people losing their jobs.
When this company takes over they start firing/laying off everyone with any kind of tenure! Their severance package is a slap in the face, one weeks pay for each year of employment, up to 14. And Merry Christmas you're out of a job 2 weeks before Christmas. This company is all about their money
