Faithlife has "unlimited vacation" which is awesome. I love not keeping track of vacation days and not worrying about how many days I have left. (On the other hand, some people are concerned that "unlimited" vacation is unfair b/c some people feel they'd be seen as slackers if they took "too much" vacation, but I haven't felt that way personally.)
Great! Instead of a set amount of vacation time per year, most departments have a discretionary vacation policy, that is, we can take off as much time as our supervisors allow, provided we get our work done in a timely and effective manner.
Awesome. 3 weeks for non-salaried employees and unlimited for salaried employees (as long as you're adding value to the company, being responsible and getting your work done, they don't care how much vacation you take).
Worth noting that the unlimited vacation policy doesn't apply to hourly employees (who make up the majority of various departments). However, managers seem to be really flexible with when employees take their vacation hours.
